The Varsity Girls Basketball Team delivered one of the most intense games of their season, facing off against Red Mesa in a nail‑biting showdown. In a competitive matchup that had fans on the edge of their seats until the final buzzer, the Cardinals secured a 30–29 victory, beating Red Mesa by just one point. Their perseverance throughout the game was seen, making this win especially meaningful.
Varsity Boys: A Strong Finish at Regionals
The Cardinal Varsity Boys also delivered a powerful performance at regionals, earning a well‑deserved 3rd place finish. Their final game was a close and intense battle against El Captain, ending in a tight 59–56 score. Though the matchup was challenging, the boys demonstrated resilience, athleticism, and a never‑give‑up mentality that kept the game close until the very end. Their third‑place standing is a testament to the consistent effort and dedication they have shown throughout the season.
