We began the week on Monday during Senior Night at the high school basketball game. The event honored our senior athletes who have dedicated their time, talent, and leadership to the basketball program. Families, friends, and community members filled the gym to recognize each senior player’s commitment throughout the years. The evening featured warm introductions, expressions of gratitude, and meaningful moments of reflection as seniors were accompanied by those who have supported them throughout their athletic journey.

Tuesday recognized and celebrated our students’ academic excellence with the Honors Breakfast. Semester 1 honor roll students who earned A’s and B’s in their classes and their families, were invited to enjoy a special morning meal in their honor. This event highlighted the hard work, perseverance, and commitment to learning displayed by our students throughout the first half of the school year.

On Wednesday, we shifted our focus to the dedicated individuals who support, guide, and nurture our students each day by handing out tasty treats to teachers, staff, and volunteers to honor their significant impact on our school community. Their daily efforts help create a safe, welcoming, and enriching environment for every student. The day served as a reminder of the deep appreciation we have for those who make our mission possible.
Thursday’s celebrations centered on the theme of vocations, offering students the opportunity to reflect. The day included Holy Hour, a time of prayer and quiet reflection, along with the writing of letters of gratitude to those who inspire and guide others through their chosen vocations. It was a thoughtful and reflective day focused on faith, purpose, and service.
As part of our Catholic Schools Week festivities, we were delighted to celebrate the families who play such an essential role in the growth and success of our students. This year, St. Michael Indian School hosted two special morning gatherings Muffins with Mom/Grandma and Doughnuts with Dad/Grandpa. These events provided a opportunity for students to share a special treat and quality time with the important caregivers in their lives. The atmosphere was filled with smiles, conversation, and heartfelt moments as families enjoyed being together during school time.
