Our giving opportunities include:
Annual Giving – The annual Fund supports the school's current year operating expenses
Gifts In Kind – Gifts in kind are needed goods and services rather than a direct financial gift. Visit our Wish List to see current requests. Please note you will need to consult your tax expert regarding the value and deductibility of your gift.
Employer Matching Gifts – You may have the opportunity to increase the value of your gift if your employer has a matching gift program. As an employee benefit, many corporations match their employees' charitable contributions. Please see your Human Resource department for more information.
Scholarship Funds – Gifts for the Scholarship can be directed to our General tuition scholarship funds.
Memorial & Tribute Gifts – Any gift can be given in memory of a deceased love one or to honor a special person in your life. Simply include your memorial or tribute request along with your gift. Special Memorial Masses and tribute opportunities are offered throughout the year.
Planned Giving – There are a variety of methods you can use to include St. Michael Indian School in your estate plans. Many of these methods may also be a benefit to you and your loved ones in terms of providing and reducing estate taxes. Types of planned gifts include SMIS in your will, as a beneficiary of a life insurance policy or retirement plan.
Volunteer – St. Michael Indian School welcomes gifts of time in support of the many activities involved in living out our mission.

The Development Office of St. Michael Indian School has as its primary responsibility the planning and implementation of the School’s development and fundraising program, including raising funds for operations, capital improvements and endowment.
The school’s mission to provide local Native American communities with a quality education that is rooted in Catholic values, is sensitive to Native heritage, teaches leadership skills, and enables students to contribute in a culturally diverse world guides the staff in their everyday duties and projects.
