Principal’s Blog November 2017
I have a funny feeling that November is going to be a busy month but it is going to fly by with all the activities we have planned. Before you know it, we will be lighting the Christmas tree in the courtyard and celebrating the Christmas holidays! I say this because when November arrives on All Saints Day we will celebrate with an all school mass. The following week, our school will be visited by the Western Catholic Education Association Accreditation Visiting Team on November 6-9. They will present their findings to the faculty on Thursday, November 9 in the afternoon (noon dismissal for students). United Portraits will be here on November 15 to take school portraits of all our students. On November 17, after a noon dismissal, we will break for a weeklong celebration of Thanksgiving and return to school on November 27. The Book Fair will round out the month during its final week (November 27-30). We could not do all these things without support from our parents, staff, students, teachers and administration. I give thanks every day for all the wonderful people who contribute to the blessed atmosphere and good will of St. Michael Indian School. I hope that you will also join me by giving thanks during the upcoming holidays for our excellent school community which was founded 115 years ago by a Saint! May God Bless you and hold you safely in the palm of His hand.
