March Blog

Principal’s Blog for March

On the first day of March our campus was shrouded in fog.  In the words of poet Carl Sandburg “it came in on little cat’s feet”, not like a lion or a lamb.   It has proven to be a busy month with the celebration of St. Katharine Drexel’s feast day and the visits to campus by St. Bonaventure University, Georgian Court University and St. Louis University students.  Father Joseph offered confessions to our students who have participated well in their Lenten journey by contributing change to the Rice Bowl Project and praying the Stations of the Cross in chapel.  The senior class is getting ready to depart on their annual service project to a Native American Mission School in California. Our girls Varsity Basketball team is hosting a jeans days (March 15) in order to offset the cost of state championship rings.   We wish everyone a happy and safe Easter break.  May the Lord Bless you and keep you in the palm of His hand.   Happy Easter!
